Easy and Elegant Fall Table Scape
I love hosting and entertaining, but for the big holidays, my mom refuses to relinquish her matriarchal privileges. It brings her so much joy, and obviously I can relate - like mother like daughter! I may not be hosting Thanksgiving this year, but that doesn't mean I wasn't allowed to set up a gorgeous table scape in my own home to admire! And maybe I'll just have to host a friends-giving instead!

This simple and elegant table scape is so easy to style and the best part? Half of the "décor" can serve as dessert! While Thanksgiving is the main Fall event, this table scape would be perfect for any Fall meal! Wouldn't this even be stunning for a Fall shower???
I wanted these gorgeous florals to be the star of my table, so I made sure to keep my table settings neutral. You can choose either real or artificial stems for this arrangement. I just love the moody dark jewel tones mixed with the warm glow of antique brass and candle light!
I chose this understated striped runner and kept my dining table exposed. A white or cream linen tablecloth would also look lovely layered with this runner.
With my floral arrangement centered, I added in my vintage brass candlesticks along with this handmade soy candle I recently bought from my friend, Annie. How gorgeous is the antique gold candle vessel?! I love the look of mixed metals, so I added in my vintage sterling silver goblets that I found at a flea market years ago. I have styled them so many ways! How darling is this little succulent planted in one? Make sure to check out my New Years Eve party and Spooky Soiree table scape for other styling ideas for vintage goblets and bowls!
Lastly, I hit up the grocery store for fall fruits in gorgeous dark colors
red and yellow pears
figs - my grocery story didn't have them, but they would look gorgeous!
blood oranges - again, I couldn't find them, but cut them open for stunning color!
I arranged my fruit around my candle sticks making sure to randomly space out the different types. I cut open the pomegranates for added texture. Just make sure to wipe off any juice before laying them on your linens!
With my centerpiece complete, I added my dinnerware. I already owned all of these pieces and use them often! I find that gold chargers and crisp white plates make an elegant table at any time of year!
Lastly, crisp white napkins keep with the understated tones to allow for the centerpiece to pop. I added gold napkin rings, but you could simply fold napkins and tuck them under your salad plates. Minus the fruits, these florals and candles would look lovely through the entire fall season and easily take you into the Christmas holidays! A simple vase and runner swap, and you've got another gorgeous table scape for Christmas!
