The Look For Less: Grapevine Heart Garland

I thrifted a set of 1980's nesting hearts a few weeks ago, on a mission to upcycle them into chic Valentine décor. If you missed it, I started by bleaching them which gave them a completely new look!

I shared a ton of other ideas for how to style these hearts in this post, but I came up with a new idea that needed a post of its own! I saw this beautiful grapevine heart garland at Terrain for $48 and I know we can make that ourselves, right?! Here's how I made it...

I pulled the pins out of the smallest heart, just like I did with the large heart here. I had to use needle nose pilers to pull out some tiny nails securing it together, but I had the whole thing apart in under 15 minutes.

Next I tied each heart together with twine and ties long pieces of twin to the 2 end hearts. DONE! Who's going thrifting for wicker hearts???

love it? pin it for later!
