The Comfiest Comforter
I don't know about you, but I get so excited over the cooler months to curl up in bed every night under all covers and get cozy! I love the weight of the layers and all of the soft textures! It's the best! While we sleep with a lightweight coverlet and these amazing cooling sheets over the summer, I always add on a comforter for chilly temperatures.
This year, I decided to put 5 comforters with affordable price tags to the test to see which one deserves the title of the "comfiest comforter." I looked at factors like softness, size, and breathability because even though I love to be cozy I sleep hot and hate to have to kick off covers in the middle of the night! Are you ready for a comforter competition?
5. Gap Home T-Shirt Soft Jersey Comforter Set
I was so excited to try out this comforter because with words like "T-shirt" and "soft" I was ready for a cozy experience. The bottom line is, I wasn't a fan. While the plum color is beautiful, this jersey material felt rough and the sherpa lining wasn't as soft as I wanted it to be.

4. Luxlovery Comforter Set
I loved the deep orange color of this comforter but it definitely was not as soft as others on this list. It was also fairly flat and did not come with tabs to be used with a duvet cover. It also came with 2 pillow cases that were different colors from each other AND the comforter which seemed odd.

3. EASELAND All Season Oversized Down Alternative Comforter
I liked that this one had an oversized option because there's nothing worse that your partner or the dogs stealing all your covers overnight! It was a tad more plush than #5, but still not a much so as some others.

2. Cozy Sherpa Buffalo Check Comforter
This is hands down the softest comforter on the list, and if you like to be super warm at night, this is the one I would recommend for you! It kept the heat in a little too well for me with the sherpa layer, but it was so soft and cozy to snuggle with! I would love this blanket for watching TV or hanging out by the fire pit, but it is not the comforter for me for sleeping.

1. Linenspa Comforter
This comforter has over 114,000 reviews on Amazon! I actually purchased this as a duvet insert for Jackson's room when we transferred him to an XL twin bed and I liked the softness of it then.
Trying the king sized version was like sleeping in a cloud! This comforter feels silky soft to the touch and is extra fluffy for a cozy warm experience that didn't leave me sweating in the middle of the night. It also comes with small tabs on the edges to easily attach to a duvet cover if desired. While I do wish it came in a few more colors that might better suit my style, I will happily use this comforter with a lightweight duvet!
