My Favorite Affordable, Neutral Home Decor for Spring

family room with black brick fireplace, cream velvet swivel barrel chairs, spring decor accents, vintage decor, the rural legend

In an effort to minimize the amount of "stuff" I bring into my home, I am learning to be more selective with the pieces of décor choose to purchase. I recently wrote a post all about 5 classic staple pieces all homes need that can be styled all year round! While the pieces I'm sharing here are dedicated to my Spring home, they are neutral and classic, which means I will be able to use them year after year without going out of style.

I chose to dye mine with these easy DIY natural dyes. I love the subtle spring color! Feel free to keep them their original wood tone. Either way, they look lovely styled in a bowl or as part of a centerpiece.

Gauze napkins

I will definitely be able to use these all year round, but the gauze just feels so light and airy like spring! They are so soft and I can't wait to use them on my Easter table!

Ceramic Bunny

I love that this bunny is also a vase! Mine does not hold water well, so if I choose to add a flower or too, I use artificial stems. See my favorite realistic florals for spring here!

spring door mat

I added this beautiful floral coir mat to my front porch this year. It works so perfectly with my plaid outdoor layering rug! I actually have a larger size of this plaid rug on our back patio as well because the classic pattern and neutral tones go with everything!

Pillow Covers

This color is called "jam" and this purple/pink tone is beautifully neutral and goes with so many different types of styles and decor! The velvet is so soft, and these covers are only $18 for a set of 2! And don't forget the inserts! Pro tip: choose an insert 2 sizes larger than your cover for a full luxe look.

Table Runner

I have styled this blue and white stripe runner so many ways, and while it's not exactly neutral, it's classic pattern feels fresh and timeless. Plus I love the sot pop of color it offers my table! It comes in lots of other colors as well!
