Berry Bowl

I found this silver footed bowl at my local Goodwill for $3.99! For a different take on a greenery centerpiece, I cut long stems of our blackberry bushes and wrapped them inside the bowl. Then I added short sprigs with berries to bring in a little color. I filled the bowl with a little water to keep things fresh.

Floating

Inspired by our wedding tablescapes, this centerpiece couldn't be easier to put together! Choose a variety of shallow vessels. I used an assortment of thrifted and antique silver bowls, a domed glass butter dish and this carnival glass bowl.

Cut flowers just below the head. Make sure not to cut too close to the base or the flower will fall apart. Fill each bowl with water almost to the top. Add flower heads in different groupings and let them float in the water. Arrange them down the center of your table in a row or cluster them in the center.

Going Green

I love this monochrome look and this would work with any color! I was recently gifted this STUNNING brass candlestick from my friends at House On Horizon Exchange. I paired it with a hunter green pillar candle a large glass vase, and this old water jug I found in my grandparents' house. How beautiful would this collection look at Christmas by just swapping out the cosmos for pine branches???

Blue Bird

This birdcage is my favorite thrifted find of the month! I scored it for $7, and while it's not antique or vintage, it has that look. Originally I thought I would add a plant to it, but none of my planters are small enough to fit through the little door. Instead I added a small silver bud vase, a votive candle and this small glass bird I found at an antique shop decades ago.
