Antique truck - Styling a Seasonal Photo Shoot - part 2
Updated: Feb 18
A few weeks ago, my friend Hannah invited me to her gorgeous property for a photo shoot and allowed me to style the entire thing. We decided to do 2 separate shoots with different themes. You can read about the first one, our hot cocoa photo shoot, here.
Not only does Hannah have the cutest pond and amazing landscaping on her property, she also has an old ford pick up truck! I couldn't resist styling a fall-themed shoot in the bed of the truck. I already had all of the decor we needed from my front porch - mums and pumpkins. I always tuck potted mums into olive baskets that I picked up at Home Goods. It looks more polished than the plastic pots that mums typically come in.
We placed the flowers and pumpkins on the sides of the bed so they would frame the picture. We layered in blankets and pillows in fall colors to make it feel warmer. H&M always has the cutest and inexpensive pillow covers, which is what I used here.
Again, I chose a wardrobe in earth tones that complimented the decor. I couldn’t resist this fox sweater! Look at those ears! I’m also obsessed with this cozy leopard print sweater. You can shop our look below.
This shoot felt warm and cozy and was so easy to style using items I already had for my front porch this year. So next fall, find someone with a truck and grab a camera! Even if you don’t hire a professional, you could easily set up a tripod and set your camera to self timer. Or better yet if you’re local, call me!!!
