A New Rug For The Family Room

Since we painted the fireplace black, I've been dreaming of other things to change in the family room the complement the new vibe. I know for a fact we will be painting the other walls a much warmer tone like a soft taupe, but I haven't nailed down the color. For now some small changes are happening like the addition of this GORGEOUS black and cream wool rug from Rugs USA. It completely changed the feeling of this space. It just feels so fresh!

My pro tip for you from one money conscious home owner to another - simple changes can make a huge impact! If you're getting restless and have the itch for a new look in the new year, simply swapping out one thing in your room can make it feel brand new! The beautiful Loloi rug that was in the family room before will be finding a new home in our playroom later this year when we make some other changes. Stay tuned!
