Adding Extra Trim to the Powder Room

When we first started making over our powder room a few years ago, we added board and batten trim to elongate the height of the room and add some depth. As significant as a change that was, we decided to take it a step further after hanging the wallpaper.

We chose the same brick moudling that we used for our door trim for a cohesive look. Even though this was a last minute idea and upgrade to the room, it took us very little time to paint the trim and install it using a brad nailer and air compressor. After caulking the seams and filling nail holes, I touched up the paint and we were done within a few hours!

The room looks even more stately and high end with the added texture and dimension! Now we can start changing out some of the hardware and add the special finishing touches to this space! Stay tuned!
